PSALM 56
Whenever I am afraid — I will trust in You, Yahuah
In Elohiym I will praise His Word
In Elohiym I have put my trust, I will not fear
What can flesh do to me? What can it do?
Whenever I am afraid — I will trust in You!
My enemies would hound me all day, Yahuah
For there are many who fight against me
Be merciful to me, O Yah, for man would swallow me up
Fighting all day — he oppresses me
But whenever I am afraid — I will trust in You!
You number my wanderings
In Your bottle You put my tears
Are they not in Your book, my Savior?
When I cry out to You —
Then my enemies will turn back —
This I know! Because You are for me!
All day my enemies twist my words, Yahuah
And all their thoughts are against me for evil
In Elohiym I have put my trust, I will not fear
What can man do to me? What can he do?
Whenever I am afraid — I will trust in You!
They gather together, they hide, they mark my steps, Yahuah
When they lie in wait for my life
Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger You’ll cast them down —
This I know! Because Yah is for me!
Whenever I am afraid — I will trust in You!
You number my wanderings
In Your bottle You put my tears
Are they not in Your book, my Savior?
When I cry out to You —
Then my enemies will turn back —
This I know! Because You are for me!
I will render praises to You, Yahuah
Your promises and Your vows are upon me
For You have delivered my soul from death
My feet from falling that I may walk before You
In the land of the living.

PSALM 56
1Be merciful to me, O God, for men are hounding me; all day they press their attack.
2 My enemies pursue me all day long, for many proudly assail me.
3 When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You.
4 In God, whose Word I praise— in God I trust. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
5 All day long they twist my words; all their thoughts are against me for evil, and on my demise.
6 They conspire, they lurk, they watch my steps while they wait to take my life.
7 In spite of such sin, will they escape? Shall they escape by iniquity? In Your anger, O God, cast down the nations.
8 You number my wanderings. You put my tears in Your bottle— are they not in Your book?
9 Then my enemies will retreat on the day I cry for help. By this I will know that God is on my side.
10 In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose Word I praise,
11 in God I put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
12 Your vows are upon me, O God; I will render thank offerings to You.
13 For You have delivered my soul from death, and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.
