FIRST  LOVE

(Psalm 118:24; Titus 2:3-5; Prov. 31:26; 1Peter 3:4-5; James 1:19-20; Prov. 22:6; Joshua 24:15; John 14:6, 8:12; 1Kings 8:23)

Yahuah, my first love!

Humbly I come before You

And give thanks for this day

You have made, I will adore You.

For You - I will be reverent

In behavior and speech

I will do what is good,

Being kind and respectful.

Yahuah, my first love!

In You I will be strengthened

To be pure, self controlled,

Cheerfully working with my hands.

For You - all people  I will love

I will love my neighbor

And on my tongue shall be

Law of wisdom and kindness.

Yahuah, my first love!

Let my adorning be simple;

Clothed in humility,

Which in Your sight is precious.

For You - I will be quick to hear,

Slow to speak, to lose peace

I will build others up,

I’ll answer softly and gracious.

Yahuah, my first love!

To all people  I'll be respectful

I’ll submit to Your Word,

So that Your Name is exalted.

For You — myself  I will train

In the truth of Your Ways

Save us all, Yahuah,

Our house will worship You always!

Yahuah, my first love!

How I love Your Commandments

You're the Way, Truth and Life,

Light, and my true loving Shepherd

Cover me in gentle praise,

Quiet spirit, Father,

I’ll rest in Your embrace

Like You - there is no other!

Psalm 118

24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

23:1 The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want...

119:97  O how I love Thy LAW! it is my meditation all the day.

119:127   I love Thy Commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold

Titus 2

The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Proverbs

31:26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

22:6 Train up a child (and thyself)  in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

1 Peter 3

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands...

James 1

19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Joshua 24

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

John 8

12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I AM the Light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

1Kings 8

23 And he said, Lord God of Israel, there is no God like Thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest Covenant and mercy with Thy servants that walk before Thee with all their heart!
