THE WAY I REMEMBER
based on Ps.51; Ps.103; Ps.22; Ps.71
Oh LORD, my GOD, do not be far from me!
When storm is raging, when sun is shining
When rain is falling, when flowers bloom
Oh LORD, my GOD, do not be far from me!
When day is sighing, when night is crying
When morning’s lying, when noon’s a gloom
Do not be far from me!
Do not be far from me!
For I was conceived in sin
And brought forth in iniquity
My days are like grass, like the flower of the field
I flourish, then wind’s passing over
And seasons of life change
And I am no more
The way I remember
The way I remember
Oh LORD, my GOD, do not be far from me!
When heart’s deceiving, when friendships fraying
When love’s betraying, and wisdom’s fled
Oh LORD, my GOD, do not be far from me!
When song’s travailing, when words are stalling
When pain is numbing, and patience’s dead
Do not be far from me!
Do not be far from me!
Yes, I am a worm, and no man;
A reproach and the scorn of tongues
I am poured out like water, my heart is like wax
It’s melted within me; my strength is dried up
And I’m a broken clay
And I’m no more
The way I remember
The way I remember
Oh LORD, my GOD, do not be far from me!
When mind is resting, when thoughts are quiet
When mouth is silent, when I’m let be
Oh LORD, my GOD, do not be far from me!
I trust in You still! Come to my rescue
And my deliv’rance, and set me free!
Do not be far from me!
Do not be far from me!
Remember me then, AbbaYAH
Remember me now, and always!
On You I rely from the day of my birth
You gave me life, then it’s precious
I’ll think of Your goodness
Though I’m no more
The way I remember
The way I remember
O Remember me then, AbbaYAH
Remember me now, and always!
On You I rely from the day of my birth
You gave me life, then it’s precious
I’ll think of Your goodness
Though I’m no more
The way I remember
The way I remember
The way I remember

PSALM 51 (KJV)
1 Have mercy upon me, O GOD, according to Thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of Thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
4 Against Thee, Thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in Thy sight: that Thou mightest be justified when Thou speakest, and be clear when Thou judgest.
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6 Behold, Thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part Thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which Thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 Hide Thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O GOD; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from Thy presence; and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of Thy Salvation; and uphold me with Thy Holy Spirit.
17 The sacrifices of GOD are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O GOD, Thou wilt not despise.
PSALM 103 (KJV)
1 Bless YAHUAH, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name.
2 Bless YAHUAH, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 YAHUAH executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
7 He made known His Ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel.
8 YAHUAH is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9 He will not always chide: neither will He keep His anger for ever.
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward them that fear Him.
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us.
13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so YAHUAH pitieth them that fear Him.
14 For He knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17 But the mercy of YAHUAH is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him, and His righteousness unto children's children;
18 To such as keep His Covenant, and to those that remember His Commandments to do them.
19 YAHUAH hath prepared His throne in the heavens; and His kingdom ruleth over all.
PSALM 22 (KJV)
1 My GOD, my GOD, why hast Thou forsaken me? why art Thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
2 O my GOD, I cry in the day time, but Thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
3 But Thou art holy, O Thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
4 Our fathers trusted in Thee: they trusted, and Thou didst deliver them.
5 They cried unto Thee, and were delivered: they trusted in Thee, and were not confounded.
6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
8 He trusted on YAHUAH that He would deliver him: let Him deliver him, seeing he delighted in Him.
9 But Thou art He that took me out of the womb: Thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
10 I was cast upon Thee from the womb: Thou art my GOD from my mother's belly.
11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and Thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
19 But be not Thou far from me, O YAHUAH: O my Strength, haste Thee to help me.
PSALM 71 (KJV)
1 In Thee, O YAHUAH, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
2 Deliver me in Thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline Thine ear unto me, and save me.
3 Be Thou my Strong Habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: Thou hast given Commandment to save me; for Thou art my Rock and my Fortress.
4 Deliver me, O my GOD, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5 For Thou art my Hope, O YAHUAH ELOHIYM: Thou art my Trust from my youth.
6 By Thee have I been holden up from the womb: Thou art He that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of Thee.
7 I am as a wonder unto many; but Thou art my strong refuge.
8 Let my mouth be filled with Thy praise and with Thy honor all the day.
9 Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
12 O GOD, be not far from me: O my GOD, make haste for my help.
13 Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.
14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise Thee more and more.
15 My mouth shall shew forth Thy righteousness and Thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.
16 I will go in the strength of YAHUAH GOD: I will make mention of Thy Righteousness, even of Thine only.
17 O God, Thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared Thy wondrous works.
18 Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O GOD, forsake me not; until I have shewed Thy strength unto this generation, and Thy power to every one that is to come.
19 Thy Righteousness also, O GOD, is very high, who hast done great things: O GOD, who is like unto Thee!
20 Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
21 Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
