NOTHING  EVIL

based on Psalm 17, 139

O YAHUAH, hear and attend to me

To my prayer give a listening ear

My lips are not deceitful

My lips are not deceitful

Examine me from inside out

Investigate my life and heart

I am an open book to You, YAHUAH

I am an open book to You

You will find nothing evil

You have tested my heart

And found nothing evil

You have visited me in the night

And found nothing evil

You have tried me in fire and ice

And found nothing

Evil

And found nothing

Evil

Only evil close up their hardened hearts

Only evil spew pride and set up traps

And they trip up the righteous

Yes, they trip up the righteous

Examine me from inside out

Investigate my life and heart

I’ll see Your face in righteousness, YAHUAH

I’ll see Your face in righteousness

You will find nothing evil

You have tested my heart

And found nothing evil

You have visited me in the night

And found nothing evil

You have tried me in fire and ice

And found nothing

Evil

And found nothing

Evil

O keep Your eye on me, my AbbaYAH

Search mercifully and cross examine me

Repentance is my prayer

Repentance is my prayer

Examine me from inside out

Investigate my life and heart

I chose the Way of holiness

I chose the Way of holiness

On which there’s nothing evil

You have tested my heart

And found nothing evil

You have visited me in the night

And found nothing evil

You have tried me in fire and ice

And found nothing

Evil

And found nothing

                                 Evil

PSALM   17  (KJV)

1  Hear the right, O YAHUAH, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned and deceitful lips.

Let my sentence come forth from Thy presence; let Thine eyes behold the things that are equal.

Thou hast proved mine heart; Thou hast visited me in the night; Thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing evil; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

Concerning the works of men, by the Word of Thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.

Hold up my goings in Thy Paths, that my footsteps slip not.

I have called upon Thee, for Thou wilt hear me, O GOD: incline Thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.

Shew Thy marvellous lovingkindness, O Thou that savest by Thy right hand them which put their trust in Thee from those that rise up against them.

Keep me as the apple of Thy eye, hide me under the shadow of Thy wings,

From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.

10 They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.

11 They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;

12 Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.

13 Arise, O YAHUAH, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is Thy sword:

14 From men which are Thy hand, O YAHUAH, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life...

15 As for me, I will behold Thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with Thy likeness.

PSALM   139  (KJV)

1  O YAHUAH, Thou hast searched me, and known me.

23 Search me, O GOD, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in The Way Everlasting.
