HOW LONG ?
(Psalm 6)
O, Abba Yah, how long?
How long, Yahuah, how long?
Return, Yahuah, and deliver me,
Save my life for Your mercy’s sake!
Be gracious to me, Abba Father,
And heal me! And heal me!
Don’t rebuke me in Your anger, Yah,
Nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure;
For I am weak, and my bones are troubled so,
And my soul is in agony, Yah…
Oh, have mercy on me and heal me, Yah;
For in death there is no remembrance of You;
When the grave swallows up and the darkness is still—
Who will give You the glorious thanks?
Be gracious to me, Abba Father,
And heal me! And heal me!
I am weary with groaning and aching in pain,
And the grief is so thick, so heavy, Father!
And my eyes waste away, and my sight grows old,
But my enemies shout for joy…
O, take courage, my heart, for Yahuah heard your cry,
And your weeping and prayer, and supplication;
Be ashamed, wicked ones, and depart far from me
With your deeds, and your death loving tongue.
He’s gracious me, He’s my Father!
He hears me! He heals me!
Yahuah has ordained for me LIFE!
I shall live and sing praises to Him!
He’ll come to me and deliver me,
He will SAVE for His mercy’s sake!
He’s gracious to me, He’s my Father
He hears me! He heals me! He loves me!

PSALM 6 (KJV)
1 O YAHUAH, rebuke me not in Thine anger, neither chasten me in Thy hot displeasure.
2 Have mercy upon me, O YAHUAH; for I am weak: O YAHUAH, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
3 My soul is also sore vexed: but Thou, O YAHUAH, how long?
4 Return, O YAHUAH, deliver my soul: oh save me for Thy mercies' sake.
5 For in death there is no remembrance of Thee: in the grave who shall give Thee thanks?
6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
7 Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.
8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for YAHUAH hath heard the voice of my weeping.
9 YAHUAH hath heard my supplication; YAHUAH will receive my prayer.
10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
