WATCH  HOW  YOU  BUILD

Luke 6:47-49

One man has built his house on the rock;

He dug so deep and set a founding block,

So when strong winds and storms that house struck,

It stood, like Mighty Rock!

It did not shake, it did not brake,

It did not fall, it towered tall.

The man was wise, and sought YAH’s will.

He walked with GOD, and with Him still.

Another built his house on the sand,

By pretty lake and soft and flowery land.

So when great waters came — it could not stand,

It fell, though was so grand

So when you come to YAH, my friend,

Build on the Rock, not on the sand;

Be not just hearer, but do His will —

He loved us first, He loves us still!

⁴⁷ Whosoever cometh to Me, and heareth My sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

⁴⁸ He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

⁴⁹ But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
