Thankful (Righteous Still)

THANKFUL

Thank You, Father, for one more chance, 

Thanks YAHUAH, for another day

To behold Your majestic face

And correct any wayward way.

To receive and apply Your Word,

To love mercy and gracious talk,

To be ready to do Your work

To act justly and humbly walk.

Thank You, Father, that Your Word is a Lamp

Unto my feet, on my way — You’re the Light;

Your instructions for my walk and my camp —

Better than life, and in them I delight.

I am thankful that You are mine,

And I’m Yours, because You so willed.

Now You grow me on Chosen Vine

Of Salvation! My hope is sealed!

I will not boast of wits and smarts,

Nor of riches, or strength and might,

But will sing with a joyful heart

Of YAHUAH, Who is my Delight!
