THE  FRUIT  OF  THE  SPIRIT

The fruit of the Spirit is Love,

Joy, Peace and beautiful Kindness,

And Faithfulness, Gentleness, Long-suffering,

Goodness and Self-control

Blessed are You, O my Father,

In Your kind Providence, You

Watched over me and my spirit, and life;

Your mercy is like morning dew.

You planted me by living waters,

You care for me while I grow;

And though I’m pruned, Your WORD is my balm

So, when mighty tree, I would show

The fruit of the Spirit. It’s Love,

Joy, Peace and beautiful Kindness,

And Faithfulness, Gentleness, Long-suffering,

Goodness and Self-control

Blessed are You, my Redeemer,

You are my Gardner, my Kin.

You promised to give me new heart of flesh

And put Your New Spirit within;

And cause me to walk in Your statutes,

Your judgements, to keep and do them;

Then I’ll dwell in Land by fresh living streams,

And fruit from my branches will stem 

The fruit of the Spirit.  It’s Love,

To walk with and learn from You, Lord,

To be loving heart, to be helping hands,

And a well of encouraging words;

Abide in You til You appear

To heal world from sorrow and strife.

O YAH, lead me be a sprit-filled child,

A tree, bearing fruits of Your life!
