A REQUEST
Proverbs 30:7-9; 10:6-7; 4:18,4
Two things I request of You, YAHUAH,
Deprive me not before I die:
Remove falsehood and cowardice
And lies far from me;
For blessings are on the head of the righteous,
And the memory of the righteous is blessed.
The path of the just is like shining sun
That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.
I will incline my heart
To retain Your Word
I’ll keep Your commands and live!
I’ll keep Your commands and live!
Give me neither poverty nor riches
Feed me with the food allotted to me,
Lest I be full and deny You,
And say: who is the Lord?
Or lest I be poor, transgress and steal
And profane the Name of my GOD.
The path of the just is like shining sun

7 Two things have I required of Thee; deny me them not before I die:
8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the Lord? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the Name of my GOD in vain.
